I have a '93 f150 xl 4x4 and when I put it in any gear including reverse it revs in high rpms and only creeps forward slowly. Checked trans fluid and its still full and bright red, pulled the pan and no metal shavings or dust. Without looking at it the transmission shop is saying $2700.00 starting point for rebuild. Is there anyone who had same problems that might be able to give some advice?
