95 F150 4.9L Engine Removal - Tips/Tricks?
Hey Guys,
Getting ready to pull the engine this weekend. 95 F150, XLT 2WD, 4.9L/Mazda 5 Speed
I need to change my clutch, fix an exhaust leak, new oil pump, clean/paint oil pan and replace the valve cover gasket.
We have an 8ft A-Frame engine puller and and engine stand. Plan to take the tranny out first, then the engine.
Truck has A/C, can the engine be removed without discharging the system?
Any tips/tricks? Any special tools?
Thanks
