I know a couple that has an '84 F150 2wd manual pickup. Great body and nice rims. Bright yellow paint. lol. No a/c. I'm knew to old trucks and don't know how to figure out what the actual mileage is. It shows 48,433.3 miles. not a big deal I don't guess. Something zapped the battery and they think it is the alternator but I charged the battery and left some juice in it after attempting to start it. Bad gas I suppose. Came back a couple days later and it was completely dead. The truck sat for probably a couple years before me. Can an alternator suck the rest of the juice out while sitting in the off position? I noticed some wires on the passenger side wheel well that was not plugged into anything and am wondering what they might go to. Any thoughts? Also would like to know what I should offer.
