Lift Recommendations

Hello all. I searched a bit on here to answer my questions but everything was a bit outdated. I'm planning on lifting my '95 F-150 2" to clear 33" tires on my stock rims and give it a better stance. Anyone have a brand they really like or have had bad experiences with? Some people say that longer shocks are required..some don't. Any experience here either? Thanks in advance.

I just had a Sky Jacker 3" lift put on my 93 F-150, yes you will need longer shocks but just buy the kit most come with everything you will need and a knowledgable shop there is a lot of moving brackets and changing suspension hangers. this is not a job for the first timer, my truck didn't have a factory swaybar I added one from a salvage yard and now drives great, but if you are into hvy off roading you may oppt for no swaybar

Thanks for the info. I've lifted a lot of trucks so I'm not worried about doing it myself. I guess I'm just not sure how much money I want to put into this "hunting and camping" rig.

Cool I done a few straight axle lifts myself but the TTD front axle is a different animal so I opp ed to let the pros do it ... Good luck oh on the price my 3" was around $380. Complete kit shipping and all
