I was looking around my engine compartment to try to find a place for my external transmission filter and I couldn't find a place that looked like it was good. Ideally I would like a place that's easy to get to in order to change it but first and foremost I want it protected. Is there a place that everyone who has one puts it?

 

Frame rail passenger side forward of the front axle is where I use.
