96 F150 2wd lift suspensioin lift?

Hey guys,

Ive got a 1996 F150 5.0L ext cab 2wd. Already installed a 3" body lift and 2" leveling kit and want to go higher. Was thinking about installing a 6" suspension lift (not sure what brand yet) and would like some opinions on brand as well as the installation process. I plan on trying to install myself as I have done the other lifts myself with little issue. Any comments on the installtion process and different brands would be appreciated!!

IMO, take off the body lift and just keep your leveling kit. Lifting a 2wd is pointless unless you like the look. Unless you don't have issues getting stuck in the mud, a 2wd is still a 2wd. Not being rude or anything, just giving my .02

i ran a 6 inch rough country lift on my f150 before the SAS, i had a couple issues with the brackets coming loose. if i where to do another 2wd lift, id go for more of a pre-runner type kit.

heres pics from when i did the lift, it was about 5 years ago, right after high school, took me and one friend 2 days to install with no power tools...
