If it didn't have much rust and was in good shape mechanically with 70k actual miles id say you could be ok. Id look for comparables on ebay.

Might also want to find out why it has so few miles on it... mileage that low isn't always a "good" thing.
The truck I just bought is a '95 with 116K - but in the last 4 years, only 100 total miles had been put on it. It's currently running pretty poorly, so the number of miles on the meter shouldn't be your only measure - or even your first.

I like.

While manual hubs require a little bit of effort, auto hubs suck and usually break when you need them.

I've paid 4k for a 47k mile Bronco.

I think it a nice truck for a fair price. If its all that when you look at it and you have the money snag it. Kinda old but in very nice shape..

It looks great!

If it is everything that it claims to be, I'd say that's an awesome truck for a really good price.

Check for undercarriage rust (as someone already mentioned)
Check to see if you'll need tires soon
Make sure the windows open and close smoothly, and at pretty close to the same speed as each other.
Check the cruise control (if you use, or intend to use it)
Check to see that it runs smoothly on both fuel tanks, and that the fuel gauge works with each tank.

Can't think of anything else right off the top of my head...

Good luck, and enjoy! You'll love it.

Paint is factory, doesn't look like a repaint, if it is they did a good job. Check the interior for wear- steering wheel leather, *****, brake/gas pedal rubber, door panels, dash pad for cracks. Oh and the steps are factory and somewhat rare.

Looks like it was used commercially - you can see where oval decals were on both doors.

Yeah, friend of mine had a '96 Powerstroke with that color combo. Can't find a good picture of it offhand though.

The price seems high for that old of a truck I seen a 01 XL reg cab on a used car lot the other day for 3995. As I drove by the lot.
