Radiator
Radiator
Stocker, it's old as hell and all buggered up. It's leakin now and I think it's time to replace.
How do I determine if I have the super cooling?
Do all new ones come with provisions for auto trans that have to be blocked for a manual? How do I do that?
What else should I replace while I have the radiator out?
How far do I have to dig to get the radiator out?

I'd replace the thermostat, rad cap, and the top/bottom hoses - and you don't have to block anything. The 2 ports in the tank are for auto trans cooler lines, no coolant is going to leak.
I believe standard cooling is 1 row, super cooling is 2 row.

Can I use a 2 core in place of the single?
I know the shroud is different, I don't have one on there now, but if necessary I will pick up the super cooling one from a yard.
Also does the a/c matter? Every parts store has the single core listed as without a/c

Every online place says supercooling is 2 row. Might be because it's on an older truck, 1990, I didn't get to measure thanks to rain, but I'm pretty sure mine is just a 1" single core.
For ease of install and no downtime I'm just gonna order a straight replacement, I've never had trouble with it overheating.. as far as the stock gauge tells me.
