Clutch throw out bearing going out?

After I bought this truck I noticed a faint grinding noise in the transmission tunnel. Well it go worse when I moved out to Wyoming. It isn't present on start up but once the engine turns the transmission it is there. I can here it accelerating and at highway speeds sometimes. Pushing the clutch doesn't seem to stop it just turn it down. Any ideas what it could be. It shifts fine and there doesn't seem to be any problems in the transmission. Oh 1995 f-150 4x4 with a 302 I believe it has the mazda 5 speed they put in the truck. It isn't a transfer case problem. Also the truck has a 4" lift and 33" tires. I trust you guys.

Thanks

The throwout bearing should only turn when the clutch pedal is pushed down. I don't have a guess as to what's making the noise. Do you hear the noise when the truck is completely stopped and the clutch pedal is pushed down?

When it is stopped and running, push in the clutch. If the noise goes away with the clutch depressed, then it isn't the throw out bearing. Most likely the input bearing on the trans.

If the noise gets louder when you push the clutch, then it's most likely the t/o bearing.

The M5OD has an input shaft weakness - another possibility is the pilot bearing.

It goes away when the clutch is pushed in and is present when driving and in gear. I don't noticed any transmission problems per say. It's my truck btw GTNOS posted it for me.

A couple more questions should narrow it down more. If the truck is sitting still in neutral, how far(specifically) do you have to push the clutch down for the noise to stop? If you are moving a decent speed and push the clutch in and coasting to a stop, do you hear the noise?

As soon as the clutch disengages it goes away. When I lift of the gas it it still makes the noise. It is on the transmission side tho. The noise isn't preset until I put it in gear.
