Definitely not. To begin with the '92-'96 speedometer is driven off the rear end and you wouldn't have that sensor in your '89. That's just the beginning, I doubt if the shape of the cluster is the same. I'm sure there are other reasons also.

^^^correct, the shape is different, the connections are different, everything is different. Anything for 87-91 will swap right in with no problems though.

While you're at it you can swap out the oil pressure switch on the motor to an oil pressure sender (pre-87 trucks), and bypass the resistor on the back of the new cluster. Then you'll actually have an Oil pressure gauge. The stock oil pressure "gauge" does not show actual pressure, it's an on\off switch and once the motor hits 6 psi or more, it moves to the exact same spot on the gauge.

Not that I've seen, I'd say you'd have to go aftermarket on that.

Because I'm upgrading my stock 300 inline with an after market intake manifold, holly 390cfm Carb, long tube header and a cam so ill have about 250-300 HP when I'm finished so I might just need a 120 MPH speedometer

More about that please? I just bought a '90 with the 300 fuel inj. I'm not real happy with it being a fuelly, but otherwise I love the truck. It too has the typical issues with the fuel tanks and so on, so I am learning a lot from all the history of posts on here.
Now, about this guage? Can you describe to me, in the simplest of terms, how to do this procedure please?

Sure, on a 300\I6, it's easy. Go to an auto parts store and buy an Oil pressure sender for a 1986 version of your truck. Replace your oil pressure switch with the new sender, it is behind the oil filter. Now you'll have to pull your cluster and bypass a resistor by the oil pressure gauge with a wire. Here's a pic of the resistor on a cluster that has a tach:

On a 5.0l\5.8l you have to install an extension so the sender will fit:
