Anyone know if a 51 F100 will fit on a '97 frame? It is an extended can long box. Or what F150 frame will it fit on? New preferably because i want to put a 429 into it.

 

Measure it. It will fit on anything you just have to make custom cab/bed mounts.

 

Yea, if you can match wheel base then it's just the cab and bed mounts.......Well plus about a bazillion other things.

 

This forum is for PRE-'97 trucks. If you're actually building on a '97 chassis, you'll get more help in the '97-04 forum. But a 429 probably won't fit well in a '97-up chassis, either. This will be a totally custom build, so I doubt you'll find much specific info anywhere. This might interest you, though:
