they were only .70 cents more. why did i waste 4.20 on platt plugs? heard coppers you have to change out ever 20-30K

well cap, rotor, coil, plugs, wires, 2 muffler weld. MAF cleaner TB cleaner and an engine chain was 167 bucks. and a cheap socket set because of course i forgot mine.

got a borg warner cap and wires. motorcraft plugs and rotor. took an hour and a half and it was running. the exhuast leak was right at the front flange i CAKED half a tin of muffler weld on there. and for the hell of it put some on the other one. man its SUPER quite now. and runs like a top. love how easy these motors are.

i tryed to cap that one vac line. ended up breaking it and the EGR vac line. caped both of them. i hate EGR and i hate brittle vac lines even more. not sure what the black one that caught on fire was thoe.

love how easy these motors are its crazy easy. the plugs only #1 needed an extention the rest i just got with a socket. and had no idea they were a 13/16 plug glad i got the cheap kit. # 4, 5 ,6 plugs were all hand loose coming out. torqed them to BPT *Butt pucker tight* runs great. shes gonna love it when she drives it 2 morro.

she also named it "Benny" so i wrote her a note and left it in the truck "Dear natters, Dave fixed me up really good please dont sell me. Love, Benny" haha

Nice. I had to use one of them swivel type deals to get my plugs out, but they were rusted in there.
Work on a carb version of the 300, it makes the efi look hard.

ha ya the only things in my way were the throttle cable really. and a wire loom for the coil.

the first one i used a swivel and an extention and that thing was rusted on there i thought i was gonna break it. #2 was on pretty tight too. but after that alot of them were hand tight!

Glad to hear you got it running good, it'd run even better if you used copper plugs, hooked up the EGR, and fixed those vacuum lines.
