85 F250 towing capacity

I am posting this for a member of a RV forum that I am on. He just bought a 85 F250 supercab, 2wd, 460-4spd, 4.10 gears (only 38000 original miles on the truck). He is wondering how heavy of camper he can tow with it. I know the 460 will tow a house off its foundation, but he is looking for actual numbers.

Does anyone know or know how to find the towing capacity and/or CGVWR for this truck?

Please note that the quoted 10k is for a dually with an automatic. I doubt a SRW with a manual will be that high.

It's also worth considering that those specs will be for a new truck whose springs aren't 200Kmi old; whose frame rivets haven't loosened; whose bushings & tie rods aren't worn; and whose brakes, tires, & lights are 100%. And even when the truck was new, those numbers came from calculations based on 1970s engineering & materials testing.

The point is: I wouldn't push them at all. If he needs to tow heavy regularly, he needs something newer & heavier than an antique F250.

Lastly: that truck has a 5-digit odometer, so there's no way of telling if it has 38Kmi, or 438Kmi.

He claims that he bought the truck from the original owner and that the 38000 miles is original, that the odometer had never rolled over.

Kinda hard to believe, but anything is possible I guess.
