this buckin got me stumped
ok put in the new map sensor drove around 80+ miles today after putting th enew one in still got the problem but my trip today was to a ford truck heaven and i was passing by a brick nose with a 4.9 and i noticed a brand new iac valve didnt even have carbon on it so i snatched that n i just swapped it so i gotta drive to the shore tomarrow ill see how it is and let u guys know
also that battery light problem i had i checked the battery altinator and voltage regulator and they all checked out and the volt gauge read normal unless i turn the heater on full blast then it would drop but it was still in the good so i looked at the plugs and one was kinda burnt so also wile i was in the junkyard i pulled the 2 ends for the altinator so i got home spliced them in and tada no light so i let the truck run 15 mins still no light i turn the heater on to check and guess what light comes back on
now befor it would be on for a wile off for a wile blink but it never started hard and the battery never went bad so im stumped on that

Hmmmm, idk what to tell ya.
My batt gauge drops when the heater is on full blast and it ticks with the turn signal (which is really fast compared to before for some reason) But I have never had the batt light come on.
I changed my IAC with one from the same truck I got my eec from and it made no difference. Slightly disappointed there.

well i had the votage go up to 19 and fryed most of my sensors also my throw out bearing went so i got most all new sensors except o2 and new clutch pressure plate throw out bearing and piolet bearing and the buckings finaly gone
So it could be any one of your sensors or it could of been in the trans.. Great!
I tried testing and changing different sensors and it's still there for me. I'm gonna start snagging TPS and MAP sensors and stuff at every junk yard trip and try em all. My TPS was a little laggy, but another (not new) one didn't make a difference.
