Thats a good idea too. Ill probably just wind up going body lift ontop of it. The kid called me today to tell me the tranny blew up, so now the trucks 500 bucks but I have to put a new tranny in so not sure if im even buying this any more... this sort of thing is just my luck, the truck before this before I came to buy the guy found a bad crack in frame and junked it, and the one before that the front axle broke , 3 trucks in a row it unbelievable, but atleast I didnt buy them and destroy em myself lol

All it needs is a new tranny? And for $500? You could just take it and slap a new one on in no time...might cost a little bit but for what your getting it sounds like a good deal still. Plus you know that the tranny is in good shape now! lol

I need to find the cost of renting a tow dolly and someone to help me swap in a new tranny, besides that issue he hit a stomp and dented the passenger door, the passenger door wont open because "the fender is loose" I asked him what he ment he said its hard to explain the" right wheelwell well is loose and needs to be tightened". he also punched out the glove compartment because he got angry , theres all the trucks issues lol, but on the note of the "loose wheel well - well?" has anyone ever heard of this?

Never heard of a loose wheel well. You would have to go look at it, but my guess is that it got pushed back when he hit the stump and if you do force the door open it will wrinkle the fender, easy enough to move forward. Not sure how it could be loose. You could find a glove box in a junkyard pretty easy, don't know how hard it would be to swap though. What motor does it have? If it's a good running motor and the trans is the only mechanical issue then 500 is a deal.

Thanks guys it's a 5.0 pretty close to 200 k .. The tranny had a shift kit in it I actualy want to find out what happened to tranny maybe I can just get it fixed ... I drove it before tranny went and I liked it . It's a lil rough but it drove good and I'm just going to beat on it more any way . I just want to check out this fender issue and make sure it's not something serious

Do I even need to tell them that or do I just say I need a tow dolly .... Also the truck only has a 4" rcx so it's not too tall and it's pretty stiff ... But would there be any issues on a lil tow dolly or I'll be fine ?

Also- called the kid and he told me it nneeds a new front seal if I wanted to fix the tranny. Im looking into the cost oppossed to swapping in one. He had a spare tranny but told me that one is bad too, the 93 f150 needs a e4od , but can a c6 work also?
