Brake Upgrade?

So I looked through the threads and couldn't find exactly what I was looking for.
Has anyone ever put f350 front brakes on an F150?

I ask because I am putting 265/75R16's on mine and may have the chance to ****** some up...but I dont know if it would work considering they had 6 bolt rims not 5...

Just want to make sure it still stops like it does now, i keep jurking my neck when I touch the peddle!

your stock brakes will work just fine with those size tires.

and the f350's had 8 lugs and think youd run into issues with the hub size etc cuz your bolt patter is 5 on 5.5 and the f350 is 8 on 6.5

Dang, yea I must have been thinking of F250. I was just going to install stainless steel brake lines anyway. Goodridge has a full kit, that still lets you have abs in the rear like stock. Only a $110 Kit if I remember right.

250's are an 8 lug as well, the only option you would have would be uprgaded break size which would then require bigger wheels.
Your stock brakes are more than enough for a 265 anyway.

I ended up putting an F350 master cylinder, booster, and rear cylinders on my F150. My brakes work much, much better now. As far as the front brakes, there's some years of Thunderbirds that have a dual piston caliper (better) but you need to grind the calipers to make them fit, even with 16 inch rims. I opt'd to not do the caliper swap and I'm happy. Everything was a DIRECT swap, and cost very close to the same prices as the original parts.

As stated above, you'll be fine with the stock brake setup with that tire size.
