1994 F-150 Ford Won't start

I have a '94' Ford F-150 4.9 liter truck that won't start. Every time it rained, the truck would not start. I sprayed the plug wires with a drying agent for ignitions and let it dry. Started right up. The last rain we had the same thing, but this time it won't start and has had plenty of time to dry out. Hauled it to the shop and they can't figure it out. They put a coil on, checked the electronic ignition. I had them check the switch because it will turn all the way around and run the battery down. Getting fire there. They seem to think it may be the "brain?" It looks corroded inside. Can't seem to find another just to check and see, because you can't return a $400 part if it doesn't work. Any ideas out there? By the way it has only 131,000 on it.
Any help would be appreciated!

Your brain is corroded inside ?

Might want to ask a moderator if he would move this post to a more appropriate forum. Like the "Pre 97" forum, -

https://www.f150online.com/forums/pre-1997-models-51/

Or maybe the "Engine" forum here -

https://www.f150online.com/forums/v8-engines-24/

Yea, this forum is for questions about the site itself.

Anyway, - welcome
