i already sold the truck but ive been curious. im a stick shift guy thru and thru but a wile back i got a 93 f150 5.0 e4od and i noticed if i let of the throttle and got back on the trans would come out of gear so if i let off i could feel it click back in then it be fine then one day i was driving home from work and it did it and never clicked back in so i had my budy come pick it up on his trailer and we took it back home hit had no forward or reverse gears and ot still rolled in park. when i say roll i pushed it down my drive way in park.

just curiouse what happens in the tranny to make it do that?

 

i know it had nothing to do with the rear because i rebuilt it when i fryed my limited slip clutches and yes i had that problem before i rebuilt the rear

 

Park is purely mechanical controlled by the MLPS on the side of the tranny, so I'd start by lookin' there.
