Fix niosy lifter?

Fix niosy lifter?
93 f150 5.0
Could I squirt PB blaster into the top of the pushrod and tap on it to free the lifter?

You'd probably do more harm than good. I'd trade a quart of engine oil for MMO, or have the engine professionally flushed at a shop that uses BG products.
