Question 93 6 Cyl. engine kills

I have a 1993 F150 straight 6 engine that kills sometimes when shifting into gear or stopping. It seems to stuggle and run rough then kill. This happens in about 3 seconds or less. It happens more when shifing into reverse. If I help keep the engine idle up a little when sifting into gear then then let off it will be fine and not kill. Any thoughts if it is vacuum, electrical, or transmission related?

It was having similar problem a few months ago and I found a bad connection from the coil to the coil wire. Arcing and corroded. Replaced plugs, wire and cap. Ran fine for a few months.
