96 F150 with Raptor Interior

I may have a line on a complete interior from a raptor. I was thinking of trying to fit it into my 96 F150. Has anybody seen this done?

Actually somebody put 2010 F150 interior into a 79 f350. I found a video of it on youtube.

I say nothing is impossible.

Impractical. The dash is a different size/shape; the pedals are mounted differently; the trim fits differently; the colors won't match; it'll look & work like crap. You could order a custom Raptor-look interior for a lot less time/effort/money.

Well considering I can get the raptor interior for cheap, price is no factor. Plus I have seen people put SN-95 mustang interior into an older fox body and it looks awesome. I know it won't be easy but nothing worth anything is.

Price is always a factor. Think of what you could sell that interior for to someone who actually needs it. You'd probably get 2-10x what it's gonna cost you to make it fit in your truck, which would pay for a much nicer custom job on yours.

Yes, many things worth having are easy - you don't have to make things hard on yourself to enjoy them. Your truck is worth having as-is, and that's about as easy as you can get.

People try to put mods on their trucks they think are "cool" but all to often they just don't work. On my truck I am trying to undo years of POs trying to put mods that weren't functional. The result of which is a truck that is not streetable. For example a simple mod like adding a grant steering wheel ends up taking out the horns, key buzzer, turn signals and looks ridiculous, to me anyway. Now I'm trying to get it back to a stock setup, I’ve spent many hours roaming around the junkyard finding all the components of the stock wheel to get it back to the functionality originally intended. Which, when cleanly put together with meticulous care is much more "cool" and functional.

If the OP wants to put a Raptor interior in an old F150, it’s his choice, if it’s more functional then the stock interior, you’re really on to something, I hope it works out.

Can I hear an "Amen"?

Function is vital but fit and finish are equally important. I cannot count the hours I've spent reworking/removing kluged-up messes that previous owners have left "improving" the vehicle

Picking up an entire cab with complete interior next week. Let the fun begin. Let me state that i am no hack and I'm going as far as building a CAN bus node to take all my analog sensors and send them out as a message on the CAN bus to retain the functionality of the Raptor IP cluster. It should be a cool project towards a one of a kind truck.

To all the nay sayers...hold my beer, watch this...lol

I wouldn't expect you'd have to do anything more than connect the CAN & SCP busses from the PCM to the cluster, and they'd work.

Definitely post LOTS of pics; before & after!

This is definatly not going to be an overnight project. Being that this truck is my DD i'm trying to get everything planned out before I tear it apart for a little less down time.
