Truck wont stay running?

1992 F150 4.9 strait 6 FI

When I bought the truck , it would need starting fluid to start but would restart without it after it warmed up,

when I put it in gear it would bogg down studder and die when I pushed the throttle half way,

she also had a rich mixture, black smoke from tailpipe,

since then I have changed
Spark plugs
Fuel pressur regulator
Map sensor
Engine coolent temp sensor
Air charce temp sensor
Throttle body gasket (old one was hard and brittle with few blown spots,)

Clean throttle body with B12 chemtool, (kinda dirty)

Im am getting 57-58 psi at the fuel rail, even when cranking the motor,

Will hold pressure at about 51-54 when I turn the key off,

Now at the trucks current condition, she will start for about 5 sec on her own then dies instantly, (no bog down) I can keep it running thou with starting fluid up 2 about half throttle, then she just dies,

She sounds great thou when she runs, sounds alot better than she did, no popping sounds or anything like that, I just cant keep her running

All I can think of now is

TPS
Idle air controle
EGR
Cat Converter

I have just found yesterday that the vaccume line on the top of the throttle body was brittle and not connected on the other end?? not sure what it goes to??

I cant run any codes cause its just a constant beep when I tried

What do you all think

laters,

Fuel pressure seems a bit high. Most of the ford systems I've worked on have been mid-30's with the vacuum line disconnected.

Stop changing parts until you find one that fails a published test. If it was running rich, adding starting fluid would make it worse - the black smoke is probably just soot breaking loose from the inside surfaces. Read this caption & pull codes:

Use the vacuum map under the hood to reconnect the vacuum lines. Use a vacuum gauge to get a general diagnosis of the engine's condition.
