for those interested, problem is now fixed. it needed a TPS And IAC motor. truck idles solidly and has no issues now...thanks to all who helped!

Getting codes is the best way to fix these trucks. Glad you got it going smooth.

I did retrieve codes. the only code I got was an old code Not cleared after the fuel pump went out...there was no code set for the TPS or IAC
