Weekend mods

Got some new cragar soft 8's! There mounted on some 31's!

Took out the factory back window with no slider and put this bad boy I bought on craigslist for 20 bucks!

I took out the factory dome light cuz I broke the cover to it and couldnt find a replacement so I decided to do an upgrade. Pulled this off of an 01 f150 and it worked like a charm.

I went to a junk yard and pulled an instrument cluster with a tach and it was plug and play from there. While it was out I swapped the lights out with blue led's. The pic makes them look more purpleish but in the truck there blue!

Got me some new tail lights as well, nothing wrong with the old ones. Just wanted to spice it up a bit.

Andheres just a full view of it, the front end is sitting really low cuz its at an incline. Let me know what yall think!

Thanks man. Just wanted to show off the with I did this weekend. The sliding rear was a big pain but I got threw it. And my favorite has to be the wheels. Was debating between black or chrome, and am happy with my final choice.

I am a fan of black wheels on most trucks.
i really like your dash too. How hard was that to do? The lights that is, I already have one with a tach.

Not hard at all. Just remove the black dash panel then its four mini bolts holding in your cluster. Youll need to disconnect the 3 harnesses and the just wiggle it so you can see the back of it and there are 5 removable light holders and you just pull the old bulb out and put new one in! When you have replaced all of them plug harnesses back on and turn on dash lights. If some of them dont illuminate take them out and put them in the other way. And once its all done just put it back together.

Looks great! I couldn't own a truck without a rear slider!

I found this while googling how to do it. It shows you the easiest way to put it in. I personally couldnt find a string to fit it, so i put in some of the window in from the inside
and then used a butter knife to bring in the rest. But maybe this link will work for you

What kind of resistor did you use with the LEDs? Normally you have to use one per LED to make sure that the LEDs won't use more power than the rest (making one look bright and the rest look dim).

I like the dash and wheels, lookin' good. Tailights too rice, and I take out sliders to make it one less thing to pry open for a break in.
