weird

Sometimes I start my truck and I have no heater fan, cruise control, overdrive button doesn't work, horn, and wipers. But if I shutdown and start it back up, it all comes back. I'm thinking ignition switch. Has anyone had a similar problem?

Remember my grandpas 85 did the same thing. You had to turn the ignition a little for it to work. Not a lot though; if you hear grinding you've turned too far

Ok I called ford and there isn't any open recalls that come back to my VIN. also I tried to turn, jiggle, and tap on my ignition switch to get everything to come back on. No luck. I ignition switch seems to work fine. Doesn't take any extra effort, or lack there of, to turn over or shut off. So maybe just a bad wire or something? I'm just wondering if its going to lead to bigger problems.

The caption of that photo includes a diagram for testing the switch.
