Mlps

I found the following replacement part number from Ford: E5TZ-7A247-A

Is this a ford only part or does someone have an equivalent autozone or oreilly number?

And what vehicle is this for?

You could contact Josh at Tasca for a good price on the genuine Ford part.

The MLPS should be for the '94 - '96 F150. Ford has a TSB to replace some of the pins on the MLPS due to water impregnation. I only know of Ford carrying the part. I had mine replaced on my '94 Lightning along with the TSB.

Good Luck.

Reason I asked - although this post is in the pre-97 section, the OP's profile says he has a 2003 Lightning..........

Most parts stores sell the new-style MLPS with the matching connector. DON'T buy the cheapest one you can find. Get a MotorCraft or Echlin or Standard...

For the best results, apply some ELECTRICAL (NOT dielectric) grease to the new connector. Details at the bottom of this caption:
