1995 fordF150 buzzer code?

I have been building a Ford F-250 truck in the last 3 years. In the last month, I have got it on the road and legal. Now I am working out a few bug's here and there.

The AIRBAG light was flashing and not knowing anything about them, I just pulled the light out of the dash. Well, after putting the dash back together now there is a buzz/bell that rings 5 times, then repeats for about 5 min or so. Just 5 rings space 5 rings space...over and over.

I am wanting to think that the air bag light was also flashing 5 times, but I cannot remember.

What is this ringing trying to code, any help would be great! Here are a few sexy pic's of my new toy.

I only going by my experience which is limited but seems VERY similar to yours. On my 1994 F150 XL 4.9 the air bag flash code was 4-2 if I'm not mistaken. Removing the air bag blub is the old school attempt that as you have found FAILS. The dealer wanted $300.00 over 8 years ago to correct this. Needless to say I drove it like this for quite some time ( almost 10 years ). You possibly also have lost your horn and cruise which were also issue with my truck. I finally grew a spine and some ***** after some internet searches and replaced the CLOCK SPRING. Really not that bad. Couple of great step by step guides about this process. Air Bag light resolved. Cruise control works. Horns were another story so now I have a cool air horn. Anywho..... my two cents. Nice Build! Just finished a complete front end rebuild on my truck.

Well, first off, thank you for your time and sharing your experience. I have no problem with the horn, and I have not yet tested the cruise control. I was guessing the buzz/bell sound is coding 55, I am not sure. I dont know much about this airbag stuff.

Thanks man, I love this truck also. LOL
The truck has parts from:
1979 F-250
1983 bronco
1989 bronco
1992 f-150
1995 f-150

And the wheels, I'm not too sure on, but I'm guessing they are from the mid-1980's. I have had them for YEARS! They are 15x10's, and require deep lugs that recess into the rim. And the balance wights have to be mounted on the inside of the rims.

The 5 chimes means that the air bag light isn't working. I know it sounds stupid, but if the bulb is replaced the chimes will stop.

It goes through the 5 chime 5 times, then about 30 miles later it does it again, right?

From what research I have found those wheels are from the early to mid 80's. Mine are the same wheels for the most part except in a smaller half ton 5 bolt pattern. I honestly do not even know the real brand of them. I got them from the original owner of my truck and he got them from some guy with an even older truck. I just painted em black.
And if you do ever want to sell those wheels google search for western hurricane wheels, there is a dealer that has all wheels of that style and they go for a pretty penny, a lot more than any new wheel.

Thats great! I looked EM' up on Google, and learned just a touch more. Thank you. I don't think I will ever sell them, but I have been made offers many many time from people wanting to buy them.
I have thought about running them on my 86' Fox Mustang after restoring it, but that is just a crazy thought that ran through my head at one time. I do have plans on upgrading the wheel/tire set on the truck, along with many other things. But that time will come latter.

Thank you for your time.

I hope people don't bump into it - the colors are so drab...

Frankentrucks - I love 'em. I can't keep track of how many donors are in my Bronco. Your build reminds me of the '75 Bronco I built for a friend - we stripped it to the frame, Herculined it, and then put back just the pieces we wanted. F150, Crown Vic, Explorer, Bronco...

My CV's primary donor was a '00 MGM (engine, trans, wiring), but there are also parts from a '99 CV(P71 PCM), '98 CV (dual exhaust & d'shaft), '97 MGM (headliner), '98 MGM (rims)...

I love a 100% stock vehicle.

No, that's not what it means. It means there's a fault in the airbag system, AND the bulb circuit is open. If you put a good bulb in, it'll stop chiming, but it'll flash the code. Read this caption:

You are 100% right (again) I was refering to the chime and not the fault. Thanks for keeping me honest. He said there was a fault code but his concern was the chime, didn't try to steer him wrong. Don't beat me! ha ha

I replaced the AirBag light, an it stopped the chime. The light was showing a code 44. Come to find out I had mounted the front sensors wrong. I googled 95 ford f-150 radiator support pic's and searched through them for a few. And found that the 2 sensors go on the top of the support. I moved them, and no light, or chime. Thank you all for your help!
