Im sure you havent seen this one....

I'm picking up my first Ford on Monday....its a rust bucket, but the divorce has done me in, haha. Its 85, 300, manual, 4x4, and it needs new tires bad, really bad. I dont have the cash right now to get the tires and lift, but wanted to go with 33's and then lift next month. Is it possible? Also, any other useful sites would be awesome. Its not an LS1, but i think she'll do just fine.

Love the older trucks! I don't have any info on the lift, but checkout www.treadwright.com for cheap tires. I got 31s for my truck last month and an really happy with them.

A lift is going to be expensive on these trucks because of the way the front suspension is. You may be able to get a leveling kit on there and get it aligned somewhat close to tolerable, but it's not going to be right.

33's will fit you fine no lifting or bumper spacing required on '80-'86
