What is my 79 really worth?

Finally decided I am going to sell my 79 F150, took a new F150 for a test drive, man they are huge and nice. I advertised it locally for $3500 but didn't really get a response. So what are these trucks worth? I'll post a picture and a video. Thanks.

I'd pay 2000 tops. I have a few, so I like to think I know what I'm sayin' is right.

Here in Michigan $2000-$3000. What year of new truck are you looking for? https://www.f150online.com/forums/tr...supercrew.html

I take trade ins.

I also have a 1979 ford F150 single cab short bed -460 - air conditioning all special ordered. Now in my opinion with your truck is that is way clean, I just watched your video and you mentioned that the motor is out of a newer explorer? That had to have been some work/time/money. The body for the exception of some minor at one of the cab corners rust looks excellent. And the dark blue looks bad*** IMO. I would be firm at $2500 if you are in a hurry to sell it. If I were you (and not in a hurry) I would keep it posted around $3800 and let someone talk you down. but idk your situation. Either way though - good luck with the sale and I hope you have some good pictures of your truck because it is awesome lookin

Slightly off topic, but I'd love to have a 79' F150 someday. That body style is my favorite by far. We had one growing up that I have fond memories of and I was born in 79'. Some day I will hopefully get one, but I have too many cars and toys as it is now.

I'd wait for the right buyer and don't let some tire kicker talk you way down.
