Ok, so i picked the 84 f150 4x4 up. Kind of liking it....even though its a ford, lol. When i test drove this truck, with clutch in it was quiet, let it out, got noisy. So i kind of figured no biggie, must be a throw out bearing. But whats not making since, is it sounds louder in first and second, almost quiet in third, and then not as loud as 1-2 in 4th/OD. its also noisy in neutral with the clutch out. I'm still leaning towards th throw out, but not certain now.....any feed back?

Other than that, seems to run pretty good, shocked me really. Cant wait for the weekend to have time to start going through it and fixing what i can. Wish the fuel gauge worked, haha

 

Ok....cruised the back roads a little, I'm thinking now its not the throwout bearing...I dont feel anything come up through the stick though at all, like in other vehicles ive had when the tranny started going i could feel it, ya know what im saying? 3rd is definitely fine, so is fourth. Still like it though......
