1991 F250, wont start

1991 F250, dual tanks.
at random times I can't get my truck to start, it does turn over just won't fire. It does it when it's cold or hot, and if I wait 10 -15 min it will start. It does this on both tanks, the fuel pump does kick on.
I hooked up the code reader to it and I get
(14) NO PIP RPM
(35) EFP/PFE High
(41) No EGO Switch

What do these codes mean and could they be causing this problem. If so what do I need to change out?

Thanks,

RS

What engine/trans? How many miles? What maintenance/repairs/modifications? How long has this symptom existed?

Does it turn off?

What do these codes mean...?
You posted the definitions (or at least PART of each definition). 14 says the EEC isn't receiving any CMP(PIP) signal from the ICM. 35 is a signal out-of-range, but it might be caused by a vacuum leak. 41 says the oxygen sensor is fouled, or the engine is running very rich, or there's an exhaust leak. If you look up those codes on another list (or a FEW others), you'll probably get some more-specific info. Try the one linked in this caption:

No, codes don't cause problems - they tell you where to begin diagnosing problems.

Codes don't mean to change parts. It's possible that the truck can be repaired without replacing any significant parts, so don't go on a buying spree. Read a few old threads - it almost never fixes anything.

This is my Father in laws truck so not exactly sure I think it has the 7.5 motor with the E40D. Miles the truck just went over 200K, but engine and trans have been rebuilt.

It's been doing this off and on for a couple months.

Yes it turns off with no problems.

I meant: does the pump shut off automatically after ~1 sec if you leave the key in RUN without starting the engine?

It does have the 7.5/E4OD
Yes, the fuel pump shuts off.
The fuel pumps have good pressure (35 & 38)
He replaced the ignition yesterday before I got him any info so we will wait & see what happens from here.
