93 e150 5.0 same as f150 5.0?
Long story short, I've got my 79 yr old dad's old truck, a 93 xlt long bed 4x4 f150 5.0 efi that's been sitting for 7 years or so on the farm.
It looks great but...brake lines fubar, oil pan rot, 139k miles, rear main leaking, etc. Did the brake stuff and figured on changing the pan but it looks like the right exhaust manifold is cracked and would prob change both manifolds rather than argue with the rusted studs, etc when I do the pan. Then I saw a e150 efi 302 from a 93 with 67k miles on it for a really good price. It would be great to swap the upper intake, put the new pan and rear main seal on and swap the engines. Sounds simple enough, but.... Questions- will it fit? If so, any pointers on the engine swap? Any advise, ridicule, pointers, jokes, warnings, etc will be appreciated. Thanks from Ken; Spfld, MA
