My First Truck - '95 5.8
Bought my first truck yesterday. 1995 F150 5.8 4x4. I have a couple questions, as it's a 15 year old used truck.
First, the temperature gauge is on the fritz. Sometimes it will read 100% hot, sometimes it reads slightly colder than it should considering I live in ~100 degree Arizona. The truck has a new thermostat, coolant levels are fine, and it doesn't seem to run hot at all.
Second, What is the proper name for the part inside the driver's door that the handle attaches to? I have a handle, but the part that the handle and the cable attaches to - the part that actuates the door, is missing.
I've been searching for a replacement, but either cant find it, or can't figure out exactly what it's called. What other vehicles use this same door opening system? I might be able to hit a junkyard later today.
