Newbie with a couple of questions

I originally accidentally posted this in the wrong forum so please forgive the dupe.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Hello, I just bought a 1993 F250 4x4 long bed, super cab, E40D, with the 7.5l engine. It's my first 4x4 and my first Ford. Feel free to flame me, but I've been a Chevy guy for at least 30 years. My daily driver is a red 88 corvette, hence my forum name. I also have an old 2wd 79 Chevy pickup.

I'm pretty excited about my new truck. It has a ton of miles, 242,000, and a bit more rust on the under carriage than I'd like, but it runs and handles great. I bought it for three reasons really. 1. My daughters both grew up, moved out, and took their front wheel drive cars with them. I used to use them to drive in the snow since my vette and truck absolutely suck in the snow. 2. When my daughters fly home to visit they refuse to drive my manual transmission truck so I needed to get something with an automatic. 3. Finally, I'm always hauling stuff for home repair or taking stuff to the dump and absolutely must have a truck with a long bed therefore a non-truck vehicle was out of the question.

My new truck suits all these purposes. I bought the truck for what I think is a reasonable price. I'm sure a lot of people will say I paid too much. It was from a used truck lot and they were asking $4900. I offered $3500 and we settled on $3750. I feel pretty good about it. If it completely falls apart it won't cost me my life's savings.

The truck didn't come with an owner's manual so I can't look up some of the normal usage data. I have managed to find a lot of info online. I'm trying to learn as much about it as possible and have taken the following picture of the door sticker.

I have no idea what most of the numbers mean. I'm sure I know most of the answers, like the truck is white, has an extended cab, 7.5l gas engine, E40D transmission, and 3.55 gear ratio.

I'll definitely be hauling stuff in the bed and may want to tow something.

Questions:
Can I determine what the cargo and towing capacities are from the sticker?
If not, do you know what the capacities are?

How many miles are the 7.5L engines usually good for?

How many miles are the E40D transmissions usually good for?

Is there an initiation ceremony into the Ford brotherhood?

Ron

You have at least one answer in your original thread. Technically, this still isn't the right forum - you really should have posted in the F-250 forum...........
