Just finished some work on the old truck. Plugs, wires, cap & rotor. EGR Valve. Air, fuel & PCV filters. All went well. The EGR replacement wasn't planned, it was a surprise waiting for me.
Removed and replaced the windshield wiper motor. Now, that is a chore. The cowl has to be removed. That involves no fewer than 15 sheet metal screws and a fair amount of fenagaling to lift it out with the hood in place. The motor is affixed to a plate fastened to the firewall and bolted from underneath.
Next up is the installation of this new Sony radio and speakers. After that, a new seat.
The truck was purchased in Dec 88 in Texas. Standard cab, 4.9L, 5peed. It has been titled in 4 other states. Showing just under 160K.

I didn't take any pics. The job was completed in my driveway, in 100 degree weather. 5 minutes outside & I was dripping in sweat. It just wasn't a situation that was condusive to my being willing to get dry to handle the camera & then dive back into it.
