I wasn't expecting it to be a race truck Just the first time I drove it doin 65 down the highway I wasn't expecting to slow down to 55 and downshift to 3rd gear to pick up speed when I hit a hill. I'm not really complaining I really do like the truck and it does run very well.

Mine lugs when you go below 30 in 4th. So usually if I'm doin 30-20 I leave it in 3rd.

Through town i basically coast in fourth, i can hit the gas and pick up rpm's slowly, granted it sounds like an old farm tractor doing so, If i really want to git up and go, as much as the truck will do so, I have to downshift to third or even second if i really want to wind er up.

The old inline 6's are awesome. A few months ago i started a thread asking about a inline 6 in a E150 and everyone was telling me it would be so slow and if it had a load on it to forget about it. Well i decided to go ahead and get it and glad i did. It runs like a brand new one 242,500 miles. Use's no oil at all. It has plenty of gitty up and go. Only thing after about 70 you have to kick it in the *** to pass some one. Ive drive it about 100 miles a day and would'nt trade it for anything. Around town i get about 14.5 to 15 mpg and on a highway run the best its got is 16.5 mpg usually around 15.8 to 16 though. It hurts everytime i fill up that 40 gallon tank though lol

Nice truck(s) you have there. Is that red boat under the cover a Lund by chance?

Coy, this thing is to the FLOOR to do 70mph. If you hit a hill doin 65 you have to downshift to 4th so you don't slow down to 55

Chris, Thanks! Not too sure what the boat is. I have a boat storage at my house and there's about 200 boats here

Oh damn! That's a lot of boats. That red one looks just like my Lund I use for fishing and crabbing, nice boat. But again, nice fleet of Ford's you have there. Must be pretty cool to have two F-150's as an option to drive.
