Ya, 300 is a 93 and the 5.8 is a 94.

Those are the same generation so I would imagine the parts would be completely interchangeable.
Why would I need the rear axle?
Wouldn't the 351 also have an 8.8 with 3.55's and a LS..

The rear axle isn't really related to the engine. They were all optional when the truck was ordered. For example, my 93 with the 4.9 has an open 3.08 but my 94 has a ls 3.55 rear end. All f150s since the early 80's have used the 8.8".

351W with an A9L(mustang 5.0) computer and harness, with a Tremec TKO 600 trans. Problem is solved, and it's been done quite a bit in the Lightning community, and for us the hardest part is putting in the pedal assembly for the clutch.
