1982 F150 Air Check Valve
1982 F150 Air Check Valve
I just recently bought a 1982 F150 and I noticed that there is what looks to be a Check Valve just behind the carburetor with no hose connected to it. There are no disconnected hoses any where in the engine bay. Where would the hose connect to from the Check Valve?
It does not have a smog pump, but I do see where one could possibly mounted. Since it does not have one, nor cats and it has an after market intake manifold, maybe I just need to plug the check valve?
I hear noise coming from the check valve. I think I'm just going to plug it or as someone had mentioned, get a kit that deletes the pipe altogether.
