I know on most f150s the fuel filter is easily accessible but mine is tucked between the frame rail, fuel tank, and skid plate. Has anyone had success with this on an Eddie bauer edition 4x4?

 

My 96 is placed "nicely" between the fuel tank and rails, mine is 2wd so no skid plates in the way. It never seems to be as quick a change as it should be, have to use the correct disconnect tool and you still end up getting gasoline on you.
