91 F150 300ci help
Ok I got rid of the 86 F250 that I had after I was offered a very good amount of Denero for it. I just picked up a 91 F150 with the 300ci in it. It has a rough idle, when I drive it it seems to fall on its face at a slow or small acceleration. when I get on it, it acts just fine but as soon as I get off the pedal it seems to miss. It seems like to me that its a ignition issue, doesnt feel like a fuel problem since at WOT it runs fine.. Lets hear the 2 cents. I am planning on ordering cap, rotor, plugs, wires, and all that good stuff. Am I missing something here?
Oh the truck has 118k on it

You are on the right track. Put the ignition parts in that you mentioned and add a container of fuel injector cleaner in a near full tank of gas. Maybe change the fuel filter. That will eliminate the easy stuff if it doesn't fix your problem.
Error code scans & Fuel pressure at the rail. Might as well see what your dealing w/ overall, but I would have started w/ it ignition system too. Get at least a 44-48KL coil, so you can stretch your plug gap after you get the rest of your ducks in a row. http://fullsizebronco.com/forum/show...ht=timing+bump

I disagree, add the FI cleaner to an empty tank sittin at the gas pump before filling up. This way the cleaner is spread out throughout the tank, not just sitting on top.
You are very much so on the right track to fixing your issues. Good luck and keep us informed
Ok got the truck done today and it runs amazing. When I started putting the new plugs and wires on I was looking at the wires and I think they were the original wires, plugs, cap and rotor. But anyways all is way better, i also put in some Lucas fuel/injector cleaner in the tank so that should smooth anything else out also. Thanks for everyones help!!!
