93 supercab 4x4 busted lol

ok so i went mudding earlier today, and now i have issues, the main thing is that i cant go any faster than 45, not sure why its doing it though, you can put the pedal to the fire wall and it wont go faster, let off so it should shift but it doesnt, i just changed the motor oil last week, the next big issue is the front drive shaft is loose enough i can turn it by hand, heres what had happened, we were going to leave, and i had to go up a small incline, i was in 2wd but the engine would only rev up and not go no where, had to put it in 4 high to get up the little hill and get to the main road, i decided to keep it in 4h till i was able to get across the bridge cause it just wasnt goin no where in 2wd got to the gas station, truck died, battery died, we tried to soak up all the water and mud in the distributor which wasnt much at all, but we got all the we could get, got it back on there the truck started, it sounded half way usual then reved it up, the went to get in drive, it died and killed battery.

does anyone have any idea on what all i coulda screwed up this time lol?

It was mostly water, i charged the battery up lastnight and the truck started i checked the tranny fluid and it looks good from what i could tell, we checked the engine oil yesterday after it died and it looked decent enough, but now ive only got reverse, it works perfect, no 1 D or OD, someone was saying that the front end could be locked up, but im not sure how the tires will roll in reverse, but im trying to take off the front drive shaft to see if that would do anything, i got the front u joints off but we caint get off the back ones, could i have of hydro locked the motor or would it even run if i did that? but another thing ive noticed is that before yesterday, when i would shift into od it would sometimes take a second of giving it gas then it would catch then go, but it doesnt do it very often, when i rev up the motor it sounds fine, im pretty sure i got water in the air intake and filter, any ideas on what to do next if taking the front drive shaft doesnt help? Could i have blown the tranny or busted a gear or could it be linkage issues, thanks for the help.

Why don't you go to the nearest lake and drive into it, then let it sink to the bottom. Sounds like the poor truck would be better off dead!!!
