well i've replaced the dual fuel reservior on my 86 50F150 as when I had a no start problem I could diconnect the feel line to the HP fuel pump, place in a gas can and teh truck started and ran fine. I replace the dual fuel. It runs good for 5 min then starts to spit and sputter. Bad gas.

Can I pull both feed lines off the dual fuel and run into gas cans, cycle the key to drain the remaining fuel in the tanks With Out burning up the front HP pump?

i've tried the siphon method and cant get the pumps line into the tank from the filler neck.

Truck sat for 7-8 months before purchase, plugs were clean, wires good. I know it has to be bad fuel at this point and I am a one man show. Cant drop the tanks and no help to pull the bed,
