Sparks plugs and hubs (seperate instances)

1.) I am going to change out my plugs, wires, and fuel filter on my 1995 F150 302 4x4. What are the best plugs and wires to get?

2.) I think my hubs have gone out. My 4x4 will engage in the transfer case but the wheels will not. I hear a whinning noise like a belt when driving in 2wd, 4wd, and 4wd lo. I have checked everything including belt, pulleys, drive shaft, and u joints. What is the best why to determine if the problem is with the hubs?

Without a doubt, MSD 8.5 Low resistance Superconductor wires. Best specs. off the shelf & outlast any other. On the plug, depends on the application. Stock base time & gap, E3's or AC/Delco Dbl. Platinum Finewire rapidfire's or Motorcraft Dbl. Platinum Finewires. If you have a Ping issue, Motorcraft Nic plated Copper Cores. Higher advanced base time &/or increased plug gapping or side gapped, Motorcraft Nic plated Copper cores. Also replace your Cap & rotor w/ brass versions. Then all you'll need to complete a total ignition system upgrade is a 48K coil, a base time adjustment & plug regapping! This is the best performance & mpg increase Mod you can do & still stay relatively stock. Ok thanks. I'm new at this so can you elaborate on: a base time adjustment & plug regapping (I am a civil engineer and would say prettty mechanically inclined). When I change all of the components you mentioned will i have to adjust the timing?

You get to adjust you base timing. This will impressively increase performance & MPG at the same time. The upgrade mod will actually pay for itself. My 302 gets 17/23 mpg. At 80mph, it still gets 19 mpg. All the info is in the link. If you have any specific questions, just ask. If you need em answered in a hurry: ymeski56@hotmail.com You should have no active error codes, no vac leaks before doing it. Adjust base time 2 degrees at a time, then check for ping under load. When you notice ping, retard 2 degrees from where it pinged. 16 BTDC is the sweet spot. Cylinder compression does not have to be great, just reasonably balanced. How far of advancement your engine allows before ping is a very good indication of the general health of your engine. And use Motorcraft Nic plated Copper cores for best results. Increase gap till you observe a miss, If your stock gap is .044, you'll end up around .054-.056 (w/ a 48K volt, low resistance (.35-.45 ohm) coil.When you observe a miss, bring the gap in .002. Personally, I would do the upgrade, set plugs at .054/ base time at 14 BTDC & make adjustments as or if needed. Don't forget to remove the Spout plug to read &/or adjust your base timing. Then replace plug to allow the ECU to add its advance.
