96 5.0L Long Block

I have a 1996 F150 XLT AOD with 302 type N engine showing 160K.

I've tried the Jasper website and Ford website. Can anyone reccomend
what remanufactured brand I should check out. I tried the Ford website, but can't get a cost.

Any reccomendations would be appreciated.

IMO jasper and ford remans are the ones to use. i got a jasper class 1 performance 5.0 for my 93 and couldnt be happier. its just got a little bit bigger cam, nothing special but it helped me out at the bottom end and i dont have to worry about voiding warranty or anything. something to think about. the stock remans are good too. and pricing i believe ford and jasper are within 200 bucks of each other for the most part if that helps give you an idea.

I have no complaints at all from the Carolina Machine short block I put in my 92. And they ship nationwide.
