Rough Idle and Stall

Ok here goes, I bought this truck not to long ago maybe a week or two, and the truck had some stalling issues but I thought it was bad gas because the gas had sat for a year or so, after seafoaming the tank it started. I ran it home about 20 miles and was fine except for a check engine light. I checked the codes and KOEO throughs me a code 15 which is something about "EEC battery powered Keep Alive Memory (KAM) test failed." so I ran a KOER and got I think a 51(ECT sensor signal is greater than the Self-Test maximum of 4.6 volts.) and 98(Electronic pressure control driver open in EEC/Hard Fault Present). Here is what the engine is doing, when I start the engine the idle waivers up and down from what I can tell and the voltage goes from like ~10 to ~14 before finally normalizing if I give it some gas for like a minute. If I don't do this and put it in drive or reverse the engine will keep waivering till it stalls but once I get going I'm usually fine so long as I've accelerated for 100 feet or so. I've noticed a small drop a day leak from the rear main seal but doubt that's the problem. Replaced the air filter and breather filter(the breather filter was a little wet like oil or gas not sure), I've read with the ALLDATA software that 98 means a bad PCM but I don't know what that cost to replace. Any ideas of what the check and how to check it or am I best going to the dealership?

Get the #'s off the ECU & check the boneyards &/or E-bay. A dealer will bend you over!

so your truck stalls when it idles or what? i had that happen to me last week...couldnt even sit at a stop sign without the truck stalling. id have to put it in park and keep the gas on it. and the idle was so unbelievably rough, itd shake the whole truck so violently and bounce from high to low RPMs. reset your airflow sensor, see if that does anything for ya. thats all my problem was.

It stalls at start up basically if I don't give it some gas for at least a minute and then generally I'm good, otherwise I put it in drive or reverse and it stalls before I hit the gas.

Yea so far as I can tell once I get going there are no problems, I've had some pinging during accelleration(sp?) but it's consistant no on and off. The big thing is starting, it's not that the engine won't run but I have to give it gas to raise the rpm's for a good minute to feel confident I won't stall or have hesitation when I go into drive. When it's warmer out I don't really have the problem I think.

You need a fuel pressure gauge, and I believe Autozone rents or loans them out.
