First off Hi, I'm a newbie to the forums. I have a 1993 F150 XLT Super Cab with a lil over 277,000 miles on the truck. Well my problem is that when I accelerate there's like a ticking / hissing sounds like it's coming from the middle of the truck. That had started two days ago and I can't find out where it's coming from being that it only happens from a stop to about 30 mph. However tonight the truck did something different for a second the hissing / ticking stopped for a lil bit then was followed by a loud whinning from what sounded like the rear end but only when accelerating. I' hoping some one can point me in the right direction and any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
