91 f150 no spark

Hi Im hoping someone can help me I have a 91 F150 with a 302. Ill start from the begining, a few weeks ago i was letting it warm up for 15 to 20 min and it just shut off. I checked a few things and found no spark. Since then I have tested my coil and TFI, replaced the hall device and checked some wireing. I have power at both + and - sides of the coil but no blinking of my test light on the - side while cranking. I have just about ran out of ideas any help would be great.

A KOEO error code scan might help. http://fordfuelinjection.com/?p=13 or the easy way http://www.handsontools.com/Equus-In...ol_p_5574.html Engine does not have to run to do the Key On Engine running scan test. I would be curious what would happen if you removed to SPOUT plug and tried to start (taking the ECU influence out of the firing of the coil). Sure your distributor went back in at #1 TDC on the compression stroke? Sure sounds like the coil though.

Thanks for the help, as far as the distributor it went back in correct. I bought a new coil and still no spark. How would I remove the SPOUT as you had mentioned, and is there any possibility that my computer is giving out? but my fuel pump cycles when I turn the key on and I do have power to pin #4 on the TFI plug. Im just trying to eliminate as many possibilities as possible. Thanks

Are you sure you replaced w/ the correct TFI? There are 4 versions, all pinned differently.http://fordfuelinjection.com/files/compare_TFIs.gif Maybe reinstall your old one and see what happens. You can take the TFI in to have checked. Double check your part #'s for all parts. PIP sensors (Hall effect) are very specific. TFI completely engaged? the Spout plug is on the end 2 wires hanging off the TFI connector wire bundle. The ECU is pretty hardy. An Error code scan would also rule that out as a problem.

Well Im not exactly sure what happened but it decided to start the other day, the odd part is that I didnt change anything else since the last time I worked on it. The only possibility Im thinking about is that my battery was weak, it had been cranking just enough to start, then after my problem had started I was working on it with my batt charger on because the battery didnt have enough juice. Is there a voltage sensor someplace that was not allowing me to get spark because of my battery charger?
Ymeski thanks for all your help so far its helped out alot

A guy on another forum just wiggled the TFI connector. Wasn't seated completely.
