Hey Guys,Long time no post,busy with the Roush and 5.0 powered RX7.This has probaly been asked a 1000 times but here goes again. I have a 1990 f150 with really low miles on it and I want to convert to mas air.I have found a 1994 f150 with a 302.I have all the tubes and mass air for the top of the eng and I am going back to the wreckers first thing in the am to pull the wiring harness for the motor.My truck uses a 302 with an aod trans and the donor uses a 302 with an E40D trans.Since the 94 uses a E40D, will the 94 ecm be ok to use with my aod or am I going to throw a bunch of codes since the ecm can't find the tranny? I have 3 A9P mustang computers.would it be better to use the mustang ecm.will the 94 wiring harness work with the the mustang computers.And what if any would I have to change the firing order? Thanks

 

You need an ECU out of a manual. A9L

You can use any 5.0L MAF computer. An E4OD/4R70W EEC will set codes for the missing trans, but those won't turn on the CEL, or cause any running problems.
