Radiator replacement in 93 f-150

The radiator in my 93 f-150 5.0l is cracked and leaking coolant. How hard would it be to replace the radiator myself and save the labor? It's auto OD trans and has a/c if that matters.

Thanks

they're easy to replace. i just replaced mine again last week. just drain the coolant. drain is on the passenger side of radiator. take the 2 clips out holding the air duct then take out the 2 8mm screws holding the fan shroud up top then lift the shroud up and set it back. the transmission lines should just be a 1/2 wrench to take them off. then take the hose clamps off and the hoses off and take the 2 10mm bolts out that hold the top of the radiator in and slide the radiator right out. and i recommend changing the cap at the same time.

but be careful sometimes the tranny lines like to freeze to the nut and twist. if the line starts to twist as you take it out then spray something like wd40 or something like that and work it a little bit to try to free up the line from the nut.

Like Matt said it is an easy job,I'd rate it as a 6pack job.3 beers to get it out and 3 to put it back in.

Thanks for the replies.

It sounds easy enough for this klutzy mechanic so I will do it myself.

Make sure it includes the fittings that match your trans cooler lines. I'd pull the old one first, then go to the parts store & make sure it matches. Mine came from Advance, with LLT warranty.
