1985 Duel Tank Project Advise

I have an '85 with the 4.9l inline. The bed on it has a second door for a secondary fuel tank. I was wondering how hard it is to install the second tank and have it act just like a factory setup?

Lets see, a tank, filler tube and cap, hangers for tank, fuel lines, wiring(for fuel gauge),fuel gauge, switch to shift from tank to tank, valve to switch from tank to tank, and misc. crap.
approx.$850 in parts plus your time to do it,this is if you are carbed ,FI is probly $300 more.

If it's carb, you could do it for ~$80 in new aftermarket parts. If it's EFI, I'd swap everything to used (junkyard) '90-96 tanks, pumps, & fuel gauge. For more info, click my black Bronco in my sig & read the captions in the '90-96 Fuel System album. Then read '84-89 Fuel Reservoirs to see why you DON'T want that setup.
